Senior Creative Strategist - 26071701
We’re looking for a Creative Strategist who thinks like a creator, a strategist, and a growth marketer.
Your job is simple to describe — figure out what content we should create, why people will care, and how to make it compelling.
You’ll lead the creative vision for our organic content across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and emerging platforms. You’ll turn customer psychology, trends, product launches, and brand stories into content concepts, hooks, scripts, and creative direction that people actually want to watch, save, share, and talk about.
This is not a traditional Social Media Manager or Content Manager role.
You won't spend your days scheduling posts or creating every asset yourself. Instead, you'll be the creative brain behind the content — setting the direction for what gets created and working closely with our Content Creator, Graphic Designer, and marketing team to bring those ideas to life.
You'll also use SEO and search insights to make the brand more discoverable beyond social media and turn organic search opportunities into content ideas.
Your Mission
Make our brand one of the most discoverable, engaging, and shareable fantasy jewelry brands online.
You'll build a repeatable creative system that consistently generates strong content ideas — not just one-off viral posts.
What You'll Do
1. Creative & Social Content Strategy — 70%
This is the heart of the role.
Own the creative direction of the brand's organic content across social platforms.
Develop the annual, quarterly, and monthly organic content strategy around business goals, product launches, campaigns, and customer interests.
Constantly research TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, competitors, creators, communities, and emerging trends to identify content opportunities.
Identify what we should create, why it should work, and how we should execute it.
Turn customer insights, product features, trends, cultural moments, and brand stories into compelling content concepts.
Develop hooks, scripts, storytelling angles, formats, series, and creative concepts for short-form and other organic content.
Understand why certain content gets watched, shared, saved, commented on, or ignored — and apply those insights to future creative.
Build repeatable content pillars, formats, and creative frameworks that can scale.
Create clear creative briefs and direction for our Content Creator and Graphic Designer, including:
Hooks
Scripts
Storyboards
Shot lists
AI image/video briefs
Visual references
Messaging direction
Creative examples
Review finished content and provide clear, high-level creative feedback to ensure the final product delivers on the original concept.
Know when a creative is not working — and be able to explain exactly why.
Analyze content performance and turn the results into better creative decisions.
Identify opportunities for UGC, creator content, customer storytelling, community content, and social proof.
Experiment with new formats, platforms, trends, and creative approaches before they become saturated.
You are not expected to personally produce every asset.
You're expected to make sure we're producing the right assets.
SEO & Organic Discovery — 30%
Social is the primary focus, but search is an important part of the broader organic growth strategy.
You'll use SEO and search behavior to identify opportunities for the brand to become more discoverable.
Conduct keyword research and identify content opportunities.
Understand search intent and translate it into useful content ideas.
Develop content strategies around relevant search demand.
Optimize product, collection, and blog content for organic visibility.
Identify opportunities to improve existing content and increase organic traffic.
Make recommendations around internal linking, content structure, and on-page SEO.
Use tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, GA4, or similar platforms to understand performance.
Collaborate with other team members when more technical SEO implementation is required.
You don't need to be a technical SEO specialist.
We need someone who understands how people search, what they want to find, and how search insights can inform the content we create.
What We're Looking For
Must Have
3+ years of experience in creative strategy, content strategy, social content, brand content, or a similar role.
Strong experience creating or leading organic social content strategy, particularly for Instagram and TikTok.
Experience with DTC, e-commerce, lifestyle, beauty, fashion, jewelry, or other consumer brands.
A strong instinct for what makes content interesting, shareable, and potentially viral.
Ability to develop strong hooks, scripts, concepts, storytelling angles, and creative briefs.
Strong understanding of consumer psychology and why people engage with content.
Ability to look at a piece of content and explain why it works or why it doesn't.
Strong creative judgment and the confidence to challenge ideas when the final output isn't good enough.
Experience working with creators, designers, video editors, or other creative production teams.
Ability to balance creative intuition with performance data.
Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals, including keyword research, search intent, and on-page optimization.
Strong communication skills — you can take an idea in your head and turn it into clear direction that someone else can execute.
Nice to Have
Experience building an organic content strategy from scratch.
Experience with UGC and creator partnerships.
Experience with AI-assisted creative workflows and AI image/video tools.
Experience with Pinterest or YouTube organic growth.
Experience with Reddit, online communities, or other community-driven growth channels.
Experience with Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, GA4, or similar tools.
Experience working with DTC brands in highly visual categories.
Strong understanding of direct-response creative principles.
The Ideal Candidate
You're the person who sees a piece of content and immediately starts thinking:
“The hook is wrong.”
“This would perform better if we opened with the payoff.”
“People don't care about the product feature — they care about what it says about them.”
“This trend is already saturated. We need a different angle.”
You naturally notice patterns in what people watch, share, save, and talk about.
You understand that good content isn't just pretty — it needs an idea, a reason to exist, and a reason for someone to stop scrolling.
You can move between creative intuition and data without losing either.
You know how to turn a product launch into a story, a customer insight into a hook, and a trend into something that feels native to the brand rather than copied.
Most importantly, you don't just generate ideas.
You have taste. You have opinions. And you can explain why an idea will work.
If you're excited by the intersection of social culture, consumer psychology, storytelling, creativity, AI, and organic growth, we'd love to meet you.
