Organic Content Strategist - 26071701
We're looking for an Organic Content Strategist who can turn products, customer insights, trends, and cultural moments into content people actually want to watch, save, share, and search for.
This is not a traditional Social Media Manager role.
You won't be expected to create every piece of content yourself. Your job is to figure out what we should create, why it will work, where it should be distributed, and how it supports the brand's growth.
You'll own Azura's organic content strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube, working closely with our Growth Marketing Manager, Retention Marketer, Content Creator, and Graphic Designer.
What You'll Own
Content Strategy & Planning
This is the most important part of the role.
Own Azura's annual, quarterly, and monthly content calendar
Align content with product launches, marketing campaigns, seasonal promotions, and key brand moments
Turn product launches into compelling content stories, not just promotional posts
Work cross-functionally with Growth Marketing, Retention, Creative, and Design to ensure everyone is aligned on upcoming campaigns and launches
Research what customers are searching for, talking about, and engaging with
Identify emerging trends, formats, cultural moments, and content opportunities
Develop content briefs, messaging, storytelling angles, and editorial direction
Create or collaborate on captions, scripts, and blog content when needed
Continuously evaluate what's working and adjust the content strategy accordingly
Organic Social Distribution
You'll also own the strategy for how content gets distributed organically across:
Instagram
TikTok
Pinterest
YouTube
You should understand that one idea doesn't necessarily work the same way everywhere.
You'll adapt content to the unique algorithms, formats, audiences, and behaviors of each platform rather than simply reposting the same content everywhere.
Creative Direction
You'll work closely with our Content Creator to turn strategy into great creative.
You'll provide:
AI image briefs
Shot lists
Creative direction
Story concepts
Hooks
Content references
Visual moodboards
Scripts and storytelling frameworks
You don't need to personally produce every asset.
You need to know what a great asset should look like before someone creates it.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who combines content strategy, organic social expertise, creative thinking, and a strong understanding of what makes people stop scrolling.
You should have:
Proven experience in organic content strategy, ideally for a consumer, DTC, lifestyle, fashion, beauty, jewelry, or similar brand
Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube
A deep understanding of how organic content distribution and platform algorithms work
Experience building and managing content calendars
Strong trend and consumer research skills
Excellent understanding of hooks, storytelling, formats, and content psychology
Ability to translate business objectives and product launches into engaging content ideas
Strong creative judgment and the ability to give clear direction to creators and designers
Experience working cross-functionally with marketing and creative teams
A data-informed approach: you should be comfortable looking at content performance and using it to improve the strategy
You'll be a particularly strong fit if...
You've ever looked at a brand's Instagram or TikTok and thought:
"I know exactly why this isn't working — and I know what they should be posting instead."
You naturally think in:
Audience → Insight → Idea → Hook → Format → Distribution → Result
What This Role Is NOT
This isn't a role where you'll simply:
Schedule posts
Repost content
Write generic captions
Follow a pre-existing content calendar
Wait for someone else to tell you what to create
We're looking for someone who can own the thinking behind the content.
The Goal
Make Azura a brand people discover organically, remember, talk about, search for, and share.
If you're obsessed with content, understand why certain ideas take off, and can turn that understanding into a repeatable organic growth engine, we'd love to meet you.
