Financial Analyst - 25120801
Join as the first Bi-Lingual Financial Analyst! Help build a new team, grow in your role, and work with a small, energetic team of top professionals with structured processes.
Position Summary
Our client, a boutique business valuation firm headquartered in Houston, Texas, is expanding internationally and establishing a new Valuation Center of Excellence in Mexico City. As part of this expansion, they are hiring a Senior Bi-Lingual Financial Analyst to join the founding team of the Mexico City office.
In this role, you will support U.S.-based Certified Valuation Analysts by preparing engagement files, consolidating and analyzing financial statements, reviewing client documentation, conducting industry and economic research, and entering data into a proprietary valuation model.
This is a structured, detail-oriented, and process-driven role that requires strong analytical judgment, accuracy, organization, and consistent communication in English. The position is full-time and based on-site in Mexico City, with a hybrid working model, competitive compensation, generous paid time off, and occasional opportunities for U.S. travel for training or collaboration.
This role is ideal for an experienced finance or accounting professional who wants meaningful responsibility, direct exposure to senior decision-makers, and the opportunity to help build and shape a new office within a rapidly growing national firm.
The Opportunity and Why It Matters
This is not a back-office role.
As a Senior Financial Analyst, your work will directly support high-impact valuation engagements for privately held businesses across a wide range of industries in the United States. You will collaborate closely with certified appraisers and senior financial professionals, and your analyses will contribute directly to defensible, client-facing valuation conclusions.
Because our client is a boutique firm, senior analysts are not siloed or buried under layers of management. Your work is visible, your judgment matters, and strong performance is rewarded with increased responsibility and leadership opportunities. As the Mexico City office grows, this role offers the potential to mentor junior team members and help shape workflows, standards, and best practices.
Prior valuation experience is not required. Our client provides a defined path toward certification and invests in professional training and development for high-performing team members.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and maintain valuation engagement files; upload, organize, and manage client documentation
Review client intake forms for accuracy and completeness; identify and escalate inconsistencies

Collect, analyze, and summarize national, regional, and local economic data (employment, population, income, real estate trends)
Support the preparation of valuation reports and summaries for client delivery
Maintain organized documentation, communicate proactively with U.S.-based teams, and uphold high standards of accuracy, integrity, and professionalism
Contribute to process improvement initiatives, documentation standards, and workflow efficiency as the Mexico City office grows
