Ecommerce UX/UI Designer - 241018-07/06
Join a fast-paced CRO Shopify agency designing for 8-9 figure brands. Shape ecommerce experiences that convert and grow your career in a creative, results-driven team.
Position Summary
Our client is a specialized CRO-focused Shopify agency partnering with 8–9 figure ecommerce brands to boost conversions and revenue through strategic design and optimization.
We’re seeking a mid-level Ecommerce UX/UI Designer (open to exceptional senior candidates) who understands that ecommerce design is not the same as general web design. You’ll be responsible for crafting product pages, landing pages, cart flows, and checkout processes that blend brand aesthetics with proven conversion principles.
This is a fast-paced role handling two projects per week, requiring adaptability, clear communication, and a pragmatic approach that prioritizes results over perfection.
Key Responsibilities
- Design high-converting ecommerce experiences: landing pages, product pages, homepages, cart flows, and checkout flows.
- Apply CRO principles to remove friction and guide users toward purchase.
- Create mobile-first designs optimized for all devices.
- Deliver clean, organized Figma files with auto layout, components, and design systems.
- Translate client requirements into conversion-focused designs that still meet brand standards.
- Work closely with our UX designer, project managers, and developers to meet deadlines.
- Adapt quickly between multiple weekly projects while maintaining quality.
Required Qualifications
- Portfolio of successful ecommerce UX/UI projects (Shopify or similar platforms).
- Strong understanding of ecommerce best practices and how design affects conversion rates.
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma (auto layout, components, design systems).
- Solid UX foundation with focus on ecommerce user journeys.
- Mobile-first design mindset and visual design skills.
- Fluent English and comfort working in a multicultural, feedback-driven environment.
- Ability to thrive in a results-first, fast-paced agency setting.
Nice to Have (Not Mandatory)
- Experience enhancing product images and compositions.
- Knowledge of AI tools for creating product imagery and marketing assets.
- Ability to design engaging product carousel images highlighting key benefits.
- Understanding of how to adapt design for different brand positions (luxury vs. accessible).
What we Value
- Quality over quantity: We care more about your skill level and results than years of experience
- Ecommerce focus: Designers who understand that selling online requires different approaches than general web design
- Conversion mindset: Ability to think beyond aesthetics to create designs that actually convert visitors into customers
- Clean workflow: Organized, systematic approach to design files and handoff processes
What we Offer
- 25 days paid vacation, plus sick days and national holidays.
- Fully remote, contractor role, within Europe-friendly time zones (start between 8–10 AM Kiev time).
- Collaborative team environment with multicultural colleagues.
- Opportunity to work with high-profile ecommerce brands and see direct impact on revenue.
- Clear 3-step hiring process:
